I am traveling to germany for 3 weeks and want to see what the current "feelings " toward americans are before I get there

Well, you won´t meet servile people in Europe, there are some more dry sticks like me. But that does not mean they would have anti-American sentiments. Thousands of Americans are visiting Europe each day. It´s something very usual. I´m sure that some of them can tell stories about Europeans who don´t know how to behave towards a guest. However, you know that people with bad manners are not worth to be taken serious. Enjoy your trip!
