like i said... I DON'T think guys that cook are wierd... i asked this because this guy told my bro (who cooks) that guys who cook were wierd!!!! and i was wondering if that was the popular opinion.

i think; that most men that cook' they have a wonderful; gift and the other group of men that;can't cook, are just jealous; because a cook always attracts , the attention of us women,so they jealousy, lead then to say that men's that cook are wierd , and we know that is a lie. my husband is a pretty good cook,also and he cook ,the best food and he is not wierd. so next time you go to a restaurant, take a look at the cook, and you will see how the ladies are checking them out, and thats why, other men say that.--------- the they are just plain jealous and they want you to feel bad about your man and please dont' let that botter you, any more. take care of your self. be bless.joyce_m rosalinda.

Are you kidding? Men that cook rock. My brother is a total epicurean and his cooking rivals the best chefs on television...it's that good.
My husband cooks too (and enjoys it), so it's nice to take the night off and let someone else handle kitchen duty!

Right. Guys that cook aren't weird at all I mean I actually think that woman who cook are weird. They are normally so clean but when it comes to cooking they somehow don't dare to get their hands dirty. So seeing a woman cook... Is weirder than guys that cook

Just an FYI...Rachel Ray isn't a professional chef. She's just a foodie that has her own cooking show. :-) She even says so herself.
And no, I don't think guys that cook are weird. :-)

There is nothing weird about it. Most of the men I know who know how to cook are 10 times better cooks than women!

Guys who cook in their home for their family/friends are great.
Those that cook for the TV progarmmes are not.

Think we guys are a little more particular when we cook. Usually the women consider it more of a chore, like getting the children off to school, trying to keep house,
(washing,cleaning ect. ect.) While we do it more out of pleasure and a helping hand..........lol...hope I shed some light.........have a wonderful day/night

they are not weird. as you said most professionals are guys, (not necessarily gay as it is popularly believed). It is proven in fact that men have a better way to combine flavors than women do. I dont like that statement very much, I believe it is not like that. But even though there are great female cooks, the majority are men.

The best chefs in the world, at least 85% of them are men, always been that way. So it may seem strange in your kitchen, but almost any restaraunt 4 star or otherwise that you will eat a meal in, will be prepared by men.
