lol i went with bt which was meant to be £8 a month for the broadband for the first 6 months and £12 for my phone.
but for some reason i have to pay £58 a month.
i don,t know how they worked that one out but i,ve spent hours on the phone trying to find out

oh and bt is crap i lose my connection to the Internet at least once a day.
then spend up to 2 hours on the phone talking to people from another country that i don,t understand what they are saying.
perhaps that's why i pay £58 all the calls to there help centre

for any reasonable service, you are looking at £20 per month. You do get cheaper packages, but the speed can be greatly varied, and have low download limits.

Packages start from as little as £8, up to £30 for BT home hub. Unless you have cable or buy an all in triple or quad play package (i.e Virgin do combined TV, Landline, Mobile and Internet) you will need a BT landline - the cheapest package with them is £10 per month.

Most services require a BT landline and generally cost between £10 and £25 per month.

Virgin do a cable deal which doesn't require a BT line and is £10 per month for the first year.

Eek, everyone put Euros.. so In case you are American.

The prices range anywhere from $15 to $35.

It depends what you get. I have comcast, through a bundled deal with internet, cable, and phone. I pay 99 a month for all three.

If you do get broadband, they will give you a modem that hooks up to a cable and then a wire that goes to your computer, thats all you need. Nothing else.

Try "PIPEX", they are doing some good deals £8 - £15 for BT customers. Depends what you use the net for.

try somewhere like www.uswitch.com

about £13.99 per month is the norm for just a braodband, but there's all kinds of deals out there particularly if it's in a package with something else like your landline or sky tv or mobile contract.
