if a child goes out with friends... and you think the worst will never happen... if they were abducted or murdered or ran
over... would that mean the parents / guardians were neglectful..

The world is unpredictable and bad things happen to good people all the time. There is no accounting for the "randomness" of life.

If parents are aware that their teenagers are running in gangs etc and do nothing to prevent them from being in bad situations then I would have to question the parent's parenting skills.

depends on the age of the child you can,t say be with a child of 11 or 12 all the time but if the child was 2or 3 well most definitely yes

if you go down that line of thinking , then children shouldnt be sent to school on a school bus , " in case anything happens "

children have to be allowed to be children , looking after them is diffirent from suffocating them with too much care

How old is this hypothetical child? If the child was two yes. If the child was nine or ten probably not
