How can I check the number of unique hits on a given website?

Are there any free websites that can give me the numbers on how many unique hits URL's I enter get? I managed to find Alexa, but that doesn't seem to give me actual numbers, only percentages. Thanks!

Unless you are the administrator to the site and can add a counter. You can either show it or hide it then I doubt there is a way you can externaly keep track of someone else's site.
Tools are redialy available to add a counter to your own site, they are included in all major softwares available.
