I always thought New York City because of the ice rink infront of the rockerfeller centre, the huge christmas tree and the shops. I always wanted to go there, but having done so I found it very commercial and it lacked the festove spirit.

I feel the best place is a rural town (like Norwich) in England. In England there are cobbly old street which look beautiful when covered in snow. Every year, most cities have a christmas fete, during which over 80 stalls will sell local christmas crafts, foods and gifts.

I love to go to Germany at Christmas. The streets are all decorated, the air scented with pine, the food is mouth watering and the people all have the spirit of the holidays. But, in the US where I live, the closest recreation of the German holidays is in Big Bear Lake, CA where you can find the same holiday spirit, good food and ski all Christmas Day with next to no one on the slopes!

I go to my parents house like the day before Xmas Eve and stay till the day after Xmas. My brothers still live there.

My parents, brothers and I celebrate and open our gifts on Xmas Eve. Then we have the big party on Xmas Day with my grandmas, aunts, uncles and cousins. That is the day I feel the Christmas spirit. When we are all together.
