if you do not have a body of water around your house then you can gather the turtles and take them to water.
Trapping is the best control for snapping turtles. The secret is to use the right trap. Turtles should be relocated at least 10 miles away. Contact your local Wildlife Control people to see if they will trap the turtles or if there are any restrictions for relocating in your area.

If you have a fish tank, fill it with about 1-1/2 inches of water, some rocks on the bottom, and some dry land (like a large rock it can climb easily onto). The best thing for it to eat is hatchling turtle food. Provide it with a heat lamp or put the tank in direct sunlight.

I would make Clogs. Soup, and maybe plastic bag holders out of the shells. You fill the shells with all the grocery bags that collect under the sink and voila. you can pull one out from the leg holes when you need it. Hang it in your kitchen. You could make a fortune here.

Call the Humane Society and tell them your being attacked by hungry turtles and as soon as they release you from the bug-ward for the insane, then the turtles will be long gone.
