I am in the process of applying to several UK universities as a postgraduate international student - entry Jan 2008.

However, it's been more than three weeks since the first application and I got no reply back of any kind, not even to my email enquires.

Does any one know if UK universities usually only respond to short listed applications and ignore the rest or do they reply to every application even if their decision was negative?

Thanks.

You will hear eventually, but all the admissions folk are up to their ears with the new term. If no news by early October, contact them again

You are complaining after three weeks?

Most graduate programs don't have rolling admissions -- so they decide on everyone on the same date -- which will be after the application deadline ends. When I applied to graduate programs, I had to wait four months to hear.

If the program starts in January -- then they will obviously make the decision before then. They should send a letter to you if you are accepted or if you are rejected.

If you don't hear by the middle of October -- try calling them.

i'm on your precise problem :-( it substitute into on the least possibly time to get pregnant for you, purely after your era there is no longer adequate lining for implantation. having stated that, sperm can stay for as much as 5 days interior you, so there remains a superb opportunity. What substitute into the 1st day of your final era? in the experience that your era is extra beneficial than a week previous due, do a try, yet while that's not previous due yet, a try won't tutor an excellent effect I reckon you're able to do a try, and verify it is unquestionably occurring, then tell your mum. as far as i'm in contact, theres no component in getting anybody worked up over some thing that's no longer even genuine. good success :-) x
