I'm a 1. I'm just way too cool. It's a curse I have to live with.

I'm as cool as the other side of the pillow, a November breeze off Lake Michigan or Tiger Woods making a birdie putt on the 18th green for the championship. Others that get near me become cooler just by osmosis. My coolness cannot even be measured by numbers. Therefore, the 1-10 scale cannot be applied here. You know that deep, deep blue color you only can see at certain times of the day when you are looking out over the ocean? That's the closest I can come to describing my coolness.

From the scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest - I would say I am a 7. As a parent, I do my best to adapt to the new generation of kids. I have longed accepted the truth that my time (what used to be) is way way different now.
Accepting the known facts like: their type of music, things they enjoy, clothes they prefer, places to go and etc.
But I couldn't say I'm that "cool" because I still have to be firm when it comes to discipline, their studies and instilling the right values on them.
