Ok, I know he is erratic but this isn't meant as a joke.

I'm wondering if he is injured or if his hands are too small or what. He sure seems to have trouble holding onto the football, even in situations such as snaps where repeated fumbling is inexcusable.

He has a good arm and seems to have the mental ability to be a starting quarterback in the NFL, but definately needs to work on his ball handling skills. The fumbles certainly aren't going to help him when opposing defenses are keying in on the quarterback in the first place due to a weakened Bears' running attack. Still, he wouldn't be the first quarterback with problems holding on to the ball. If I remember correctly, Dave Krieg, who was a long-time starter with the Seatle Seahawks, Detroit Lions, and Kansas City Chiefs had the same kind of problems holding on to the ball and at one point held the record ( maybe still does ) for fumbles by a quarterback.

Im a Bears fan and I have yet to see a more disappointing game than this one. I supported Rex for an entire season because that was the most starts he had after coming off of the injured list for two years. For that one season, we went to the SB and had a phenomenal year, even if it didn't end with a SB ring.

Now, last night's game was a complete disgrace. Anytime he saw he was going to get sacked, he would panic and start wailing his arms like a pansy. I just don't get it. Why are you playing football if you're afraid of being hit?!

He continuously ran the I-formation play because he's most comfortable with that, he sucks at calling audibles and the worst part is the offense is weak on the right side. Every single time the Charger defense would penetrate the pocket through the right side weakness. Not only is he not so great at getting the ball down the field for consecutive completions, his line just isn't trying to protect him.

Granted, he did make a few good completions. But those few, don't make up for the insurmountable mistakes that he's made. We really need to stop trying to draft new defensive lineman and start to really focus on offense. But, no matter what I will continue to support the Bears because I am a true loyal fan.

He just needs to settle down. The one thing I did notice was that his presnap reads were bad. He got nailed 2 times on sacks that could have easily been avoided with a change in protection. That being said he didn't lose the game for the Bears yesterday it was all about Cedric Benson Adrian Peterson and the idiot that didn't get out of the way of the punt. Turnovers will kill you everytime. The Bears would have been up at least 9-0 had peterson and Benson not fumbled. Every Charger point came off of turnovers. You can only ask a defense to do so much. they eliminated LT from the game for the most part. And after they would get a stop the offense would fumble it right back to the chargers.

He might have small hands, a weak grip, or just a lack of concentration (too busy thinking about where he is going to throw). He does fumble a lot. Its probably a little of all of them. Yesterday he just dropped the ball when he was running and didn't get hit.

Culpepper has the same problem because of his small hands.

The Bears made a huge mistake when they traded their starting running back. Without a running game Grossman is toast since they do not have a balanced attack. Grossman cannot carry the offense with his passing arm. As far as his ball handling, I don't understand it in that it is sophomoric at best.

Rex is simply not a NFL starting qb. He's the guy you bring in late in games that are already decided.

Along with Rex not being that good. The Bears must to have one of the lamest playbooks in the NFL.

I think he has a problem of over-amping himself. He needs to learn to settle down. Maybe drink some chamomile before the game. lol

Rex Grossman is just lucky to be in the NFL. Simple and Plain.

He is just a lousy pro QB. Doesnt have the mindset.

The only way he would succed his on a team with great recievers, IE Colts/Cowboys.
