We were ask to write an observation paper on my English class about 2 different individuals. How will i write it? Do i need to write it in present tense or past tense? I'm confused... can anyone help me please... Thanks in advance...

Basically, you are being asked to watch two people and to write a sort of record of what you observed. There are many forms that you could use. You culd write it as a report; "9:45: subject left house and walked to.. 10:30: subject sat on a bench..." That sort of thing. You could write it as an expository essay. " John Doe is an average American male, about 25, with a moderate house and automobile. He seems to lead a rather boring existence....." It can be in past or present tense.

You will need to write in both present and past tense. First decide who or what you will observe. Then think about what you noticed upon first observing this individual or thing(past tense) then record what is being observed now(present tense). Make sure you have a good introduction and several body paragraphs to back it up and finally a good conclusion
