Certainly something that should have been covered, don't you think?

I know the chances would be very slim, but who's to say that the abductor hadn't hired the car before the McCanns, hence the blood traces.

It seems strange that they hired a car 25 days after she went missing, and after huge ground searches were carried out. Don't you think they wouldn't have left things so long if they had been involved?

Just something to think about. It's a fascinating case but I just wish we knew that Maddie was ok.

Haven't the press been following them constantly? How would they have got rid of Maddy under such scrutiny?

As I have said before just because the PJ work in silence owing to the laws of heir country doesn't mean they are incompetent. We just need to be patient for a little while longer.
It has been said the McCanns have still not returned their hire car to the company in Portugal even though they are back in the UK. This is because they want to have their own dna tests done on it. I would like to know who is paying for the daily hire of the car and who is paying for the dna testing ?

Will you stop asking stupid questions. I am sure that a professional Police force would have thought about doing something long before you would. I pity you for being so gullible as to believe the rubbish the British media is spinning about the Portuguese police and investigation.

The so-called traces found in the car seem to be getting vaguer by the minute and now we are down to a piece of hair or a flake of skin. Either of those could have been on a bag used in their flat which picked up the item and transferred it to the car.

The P.J. are far from stupid, in the past they have seemed to be slow, this is not so, they are very methodical in gathering their evidence before charges are laid, they usually get a conviction due to this, unlike a few police forces not too far from where I am sitting !

There was no 'blood' found in the hire car.

It was DNA which was found. IE, a hair, or a flake of skin which could have been passed on by Madeleine simply having previously touched a suitcase or bag that was later put in the boot.

The police are clutching at straws because they need someone to blame.

It is a DISGRACE that these parents are being put through this living hell, and something needs to be done to stop it.

The PJ are making a mockery of the whole investigation! It's going to fall apart because of them! They're a bunch of idiots. Who knows who they've questioned. They're making a right pigs ear of the whole thing!

Well, YOU thought about it.... Don't you think that a heavyweight Police force like the PJ-GNR would too ?

i should bloody well hope so. a lot of their investigating is behind the scenes so us Joe public don't get to hear about it, but i should imagine they are investigating everything properly, albeit very slowly in our eyes
