OK, I had my period last week and during that time I had intercourse once. I am not feeling all that well right now. Is it possible to get pregnant while on your period? or am I maybe just coming down with a bug?

First of all your question isn't stupid.It's always smart to ask questions if you're not sure of things.Yes, you can get pregnant while on your period, whoever said you can't is wrong.Chances are it's just a bug. Good luck and hugs to you.

It IS possible. Don't let ANYONE tell you it isn't. It really depends on you and your body. The best thing would be to grab an over the counter pregnancy test. Intercourse during your period is NOT a safe way to avoid pregnancy. Chances are slimmer but it's still a possibility.
However, there are many little virus' going around right now, so get that test and if you're not pregnant, you can stop worrying and get better faster.

You can get pregnant at ANY time, even ON your period. A friend had that happen to her.

Menstruation usually stops when a woman is pregnant. However, in some cases, a woman might have a period with less blood or that lasts fewer days than usual and still be pregnant. Your confusion is understandable because these signs can lead women to believe they are not pregnant. However, various kinds of bleeding can occur in early pregnancy. Women can get some spotting in their first trimester:

* when the fertilized egg implants in the uterus;
* if the pregnancy is abnormal in any way [i.e., ectopic pregnancy (implantation outside of the uterus, such as in a fallopian tube), a threatening miscarriage]; or,
* from bleeding as part of their menstrual cycle (this is extremely rare).

Yes it is possible. Technically, a woman can get pregnant at ANY point during her cycle. If you don't get your next period, then you should take a test. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't. My best friend has the child to prove that it can happen.

Of cuorse, it could also just be a bug.

YES it is possible to get pregnant even though you're menstruating. Sperm can live in the vagina for weeks, so they could still be present at the time you ovulate after your period. I would take a pregnancy test in the near future, and if you're still concerned go see your gynecologist

You can get pregnant while you are having your period. lol! Having sex during your period.... doesn't lower your chances of getting pregnant..... you should always use Birth Control unless you have a permanent Birthcontrol like getting your tubes tied. It has happened to many people!

100% impossible, so cheer up, you cant get pregnant because you were not ovulating, you can only get pregnant when you ovulate which is around 2 week,s after your period ends. But you can get STD,s so I highly recomend using protection such as a condom, in this day and age why take the risk? keep this in mind, who ever your boyfriend has slept with you are sleeping with all those people all wrapped up in one and so on and so forth.

Even though some people may believe that you can get pregnant during your period, it is just not possible.
The sperm would wash out with your period blood.
I think you may have some bug like the flue.
