Sounds like your subconscious was trying out an alternative lifestyle for a while, trying it on for size. Did you think AFTERWARDS that the dream was creepy or during it? If you were happy IN the dream then perhaps it is indicating the kinds of changes you might like to make your current world that you are not consciously admitting to yourself yet. I don't mean you want a replica lifestyle but your mind has chosen the picture that you are familiar with (those TV shows) to represent a slower more family oriented existence.
