book- thriller--HEART SHAPED BOX-by joe hill,, is it a good book?

on the radio today they were sayin how scary and great this book is
its borrowed out from the library for another 3 weeks
is it worth me buying the book tomorrow?
or should i just wait 3 weeks?

please tell me what u think of this book
