I,noticed on the Youtube site, when asked by a reporter did he give his "kids" anything to help them sleep, Gerry feels uncomfortable with the question, and touches his left ear....his answer was of course, No.
Now we find out they did??? Oh dear another snippet another thought..

This is the bit I find the most disturbing. It says so much
about what sort of parents they are if it is true, seems it is.
Calpol is a sedative. It is not meant to be but most of us parents know from experience with our own kids being ill
that it is.
The combination of leaving the kids alone - this wasn't the only time
they did - it was the rule not the exception and then sedating them
so they wouldn't disturb their night out. Its just beyond my comprehension. Don't forget the whole party did this not just the
McCanns. Unbelieveable!!!!

I am OUTRAGED that the McCanns are even considering using the money that was sent by decent, caring people to hepl find Madeleine to pay for legal costs. It is morally and ethically wrong and should not be allowed to happen under any circumstances. How dare they. Their arrogance is limitless.

calpol is not a sedative nor does it contain any sedative ingrediants, it more often than not can have the opposite effect and make a child more alert and active ! if the mccanns did sedate their children they would of used a sedative medication, which can work in a matter of minutes depending on the dosage

Faith - I have given my child calpol and he gets sleepy afterwards.
In any case, if its all so innocent on there paret, why did he dodge the question here.
(remembering that he admitted to police that he did give them Calpol during his interrogation on Friday). This interview was from before then.
