I'm going to a place called Achilleas Beach which is in Mastichari. Has anyone been therefore? What's it like? Or would you recommend somewhere else. I've never been to Greece so not sure. Not into the night clubby parts though!!!

Hi Sam, the Hotel is all inclusive I think, and of quite a high standard. It's a large hotel situated in one of the quieter resorts in Kos. Mastichari is situated in the middle of the island, there are no loud clubs, but enough bars and restaurants to entertain you.

A 20 minute drive (don't hire a car from the hotel, the prices are extortionate - you will get the same quality car from a local busniess for half the price) and you are in Kos Town where you will find a huge variety of shops, bars restaurants and historical sites. there are so many places to visit in Kos check out this website for more info.

If you need any more info you can email me, I live on the island and will try to help.

Yes, I love Kos. Great beaches, good food, don't miss the archaeological site of the Asclepieion. Also go on a horseback ride near Tigaki. You can avoid the clubbing etc. by not staying out too late, and not going to Kardamena.
