I would honestly like to know what General Petraeus did to deserve being called a traitor by this organization. Can someone tell me please.

These people are not just to the left. Politically, they're to the left of Karl Marx.

This type of extreme behavior will not help the Democrats with the so called "center" of their party. I believe that is who they are trying to appeal to. It certainly won't appeal to conservatives, even those who lean slightly to the left. The smartest move that a Democratic candidate could make today would be to denounce this attack by moveon.org. If the majority of Americans are in the center, such a move cannot do anything but improve their position. They don't need to change their position on the war, just denounce this type of blind hatred.

That's just their way of "supporting the troops".

That's going too far even for psuedolibs. Moveon.org should know better than to stoop to the kind of tactics Republicans hold so dear. Having Republicans base their entire campaign against that good Irish boy, Barrack O'Bama on puns around his name is bad enough without Dems doing the same sort of thing.

Petraeus is a real patriot, a brilliant and valiant commander and America's leading expert on counter-terrorism. I do fault him on the fact that, like a certain retired Black General, who shall henceforth remain forever nameless--he mistakenly believes that his duty includes having to lie for the Beloved Leader.

But that's not cause to call him "betrayer" or to impute any worse sin than a misplaced sense of Loyalty. Besides, do we even know what's in the report that everybody is already criticizing him for?

I wouldn't expect anything from either organization. The good general is doing his job.

Moveon.org is a far leftist website who's mission is to fight conservatives since the Lewinsky Scandal. To me, this is a sign that they have no solutions at moveon.org since they are name calling instead of offering meaningful answers on their own.

He's viewed by the left to be President Bush's "lap-dog" by the loony bin candidates as is automatically seen as a "bad guy" by these idiots.

It's all about pushing the anti-Bush, anti-America agenda. It's no more complex than that really....

Personally I would dismiss anything moveon on says to begin with.
