See I have three capricorn, three sags, two Scorpios and one or two virgos. What is my dominate sign?

To be more specific my sun is capricorn, moon in virgo and rising is libra/virgo.

Is that enough to tell the dominate sign?

And how could you tell what the dominate planet is? If you can I will add details. Thanks.

Don't bother - astrology is all bunk.

Think about it for a minute... astrology claims that you are influenced by the planet you are born under. But that planet is literally millions or even tens of millions of miles away from you. Your neighbor's car exerts a stronger pull on you than any of those planets. But you don't hear that people are born leaders because their neighbor drove a Buick when they were born, do you?

Different planets indicate different things.

Sometimes a particular sign or planet really stands out in a chart, and sometimes its a particular combination which stands out. Your Sun and moon are both considered important planets as the sun is connected to your sense of self and how you see the world, and the moon is connected to your emotion and how you express your feelings.

A usual way to start looking at a chart is to read it by the rising sign. The planet that rules the rising sign is the chart ruler, and is often a starting point for looking at the rest of the chart. If your rising sign is in Libra your chart ruler will be venus. If your rising sign is in Virgo the chart ruler will be mercury. To get a good chart reading you need to know your time of birth with some accuracy so that you know what the rising sign is.

It sounds as though most of the planets fall in the lower half of your chart, which is the part of your chart relating to yourself, while the upper part of the chart relates to other people and how you interact with the rest of the world.

If you are interested, get a professional reading. Someone who is used to looking at lots of charts will notice which planets stand out straight away and can talk you through the process. you mean your 'dominant planet'. judging by your moon/ rising your dominant planet is mercury plus you have a strong Saturn influence. earth is likely your dominant element (Virgo / cap). definitely cap outweighs all other influences, it's cardinal sign and the virgo further emphazises this. your horoscope lacks air element. you need to work on being more open minded and progressive and communicative. the position and sign of your mercury and saturn is an important factor in your life.

Your sun sign is Capricorn. There is no dominant signs. You were born with the sun in Capricorn. Your ascendant is important and your moon is seems to be on the ascendant so that would be your dominant planet.

What do you need to know this for? I'm not following your question. Don't you know what you're about? It's what you feel strongly about.

Ralfcoder, you obviously know nothing about astrology so what makes you an authority on what is and what isn't true about astrology? Stick to fishing or bugger digging...something that you know a little about.
