PMS = Pass my shotgun. Psychotic mood swings.
PMT = Pardon my temper.

...

That's all I can reall say to that. And, yes, I am a woman. So, take that however you will.

I'll assume you're a man, and a very untactful one at that. Who are you to ask such a question? :p Not ALL women act the way you say they do, and there are many more symptoms than you stated.

Just think about it this way. How would you feel if someone came along and caused you to bleed from some part of your body for 4-7 days? Do you realize how disgusting that can actually get sometimes? Or, how would you like someone to squeeze your testicles or penis so hard that it feels like you're going to die (hey, if that's a fetish...then it really doesn't apply, lol). Women sometimes have their reproductive organs knot up inside of them (that's what cramps are, buddy), and it hurts like freaking heck.

Many women cry when they have their period. Many of them are simply so lazy that they refuse to get up. Some of us even get sick to the point of needing real bed-rest (ie: vomiting, having headaches, feeling like you have the flu, etc).

I can't help but flame you, since it's obvious that you shouldn't be asking a question that you seem to know nothing about. I hope that when you grow up to the maturity level in which you find a suitable partner, you don't treat them like total crap.

Good day.

Because men like you can't accept that women have a menstrual cycle. How old are you? Expressions like 'on the rag' just make women more uncompromising. (I guess that was the word you were trying to type in) and must ( or should) be old-fashioned in this age of enlightenment.
PMT( pre-menstrual tension) occurs before the actual bleeding, although from personal experience, the pain suffered by some women during menstruation can drive her to thoughts of suicide or manslaughter of a male companion who tells her to 'pull herself together' or a male doctor who prescribes anti-depressants (presumably because he thinks the pain is 'in the mind'.)

This is a question that "generalizes" all "women" as being the same when on their "cycle". Some women get moody, some get sad, and some just quiet. Depends on the person. Hormones effect people differently. From your question I'd say you've only encountered the person that already has s short fuse and can't deal.

Not all women are like that, but a few use it an an excuse, because the see others getting away with it.

The majority however, are in denial of the even, which winds me up even more, I wouldn't mind if they would just admit that they were going through an hormone imbalance, and stay away from life changing decisions, but no, they will plough through any poor s-od's way, and expect you to forgive them afterwards, it was their period.

Do you blame the proverbial bull for the destruction of the china shop? well, yes, if the bloody bull is not a bull, but bloody minded cow - who went and put herself in the china shop knowing full well that she was in no position to act delicately!

I talk about a few, - but very loud - and very noticeable- examples of the 'fairer' sex, I do not tar them all with the same brush, however when they bounce around lame excuses for their behaviour, then tar sticks....

If I am in a bad mood, I remove myself from my friends and family, I don't run to them and pi-ss them off... Hormones is no excuse for putting yourself physically into an explosive situation, and lighting the fuse.

Some women don't like the idea of sex on their period and are more self-conscious at the time. As far as I know women don't get pissed off anymore or less on their periods.

Sometimes when on your period your hormones are affected and you get irritated easy. Best that you leave well alone in times like these. Me, I like to curl up in bed wit ha hot water bottle on my stomach and then I am happy.

P.S. Men are moody too at times you know!

Not a nice way to put this question, any form of discomfort can make a person less than tolerant when some unthinking idiot starts bothering them. How would you feel?

As I understand it, it's water retention and hormones that make me crazy one day out of the month. The emotions are real, it's just that I might get upset about something that wouldn't bother so much any other time.
