Why were there cheers when Pennington was taken out of the game? I thought it was noble when he came back in to the game yesterday.
I am a Pats fan so I guess I don't understand why the backup QB was cheered that much

It was classless & disgusting. I lost alot of respect for Jet fans yesterday. How the heck do you cheer someone's injury especially against a member of your own team?

I'm not a Jets fan, but it's probably because Pennington is Glass Joe. When the wind blows too hard, Pennington goes down with an injury. He's too fragile to play at the NFL level.

the ny/nj area is a rough place for sports. just ask most of the yankees starting line-up/pitchers. they have all been booed at one time or another. :) how's tricks!!!

Well I think Peyton did a good job and they showed that their defense is still as good as it was last year despite all of the losses during the off-season.
