I have implants also and mines are behind the muscle. I was sore for about 2-3 weeks, althou the pain couldnt have been that bad because I only took my pain medicine for 2 days after my surgery. Everybody is different. I love the way they look....more natural. Doctors suggest behind the muscle so that when you go for your mammogram it is easier to exam you and check for any problems. I took off work for about 2 weeks. I hope this helps you. If you have any more questions you can email me at AsenaJoy@yahoo.com.

I would suggest you ask for another consult from your doctor. He may have thought that since you were a nurser you didn't need a full explanation of what to expect. He should not have assumed this. There are risks with any surgery and also some recuperative time. Most often breast implants (under the muscle) will take about 3 -4 days to feel okay. You may still have some discomfort until they "settle". Be sure to call the office and either speak directly to the doctor or ask to speak to his surgical nurse. Also, would suggest doing some research.

Hey there,
If you want to learn how to make make your breasts grow bigger naturally without the aid of any harmful or artificial substances visit http://breastenlargement.toptips.org
Breast development begins at puberty and is regulated by the balance of specific hormones.
Medical research has shown that the development of breast tissue depends on the delicate balance of progesterone, estrogen, prostaglandins, prolactin and other compounds. An imbalance of these hormones can result in poor breast development or even atrophy (decrease in size).
Phytoestrogens are a group of substances found in plants that have moderate estrogenic properties. The phytoestrogens compete for the same receptor cells as true estrogen. Phytoestrogens, through their natural balance of female hormones, promote the development of glandular breast tissue and act as a powerful natural breast enlargement factor. Most women taking herbs containing these phytoestrogens notice a significant increase in the fullness and balance of their breasts.
There are a number of herbs that have been promoted by different companies that contain good levels of phytoestrogens and have the action of promoting breast tissue growth and tone.

Go for it. You will be sore for a few weeks, because of all the stretching in the muscles. Take it easy and don't over do it, don't try to rush the healing process.
I had mine placed in front of the muscle because of excess tissue from breast feeding, I love them 8 years and counting.

I also had mine placed underneath the muscle, & it looks completely natural, I'm so happy! You will be very sore for about 4 days (that's where the relaxation, rest & painkillers come in!). After that, you need to move as little as possible for about 2 weeks while your body recovers (but you aren't really in pain anymore). You should be able to return to work about 2-3 weeks after the op, although different surgeons insist on different timetables. Good luck, hope it looks great!

*>>> What's up? My name's Gwenivere, let me tell you a brief story about myself which I believe may be of some Hẹlp to you...
Growing up, I was teased all throughout high-school. You know, I was that girl with the really small breasts that everyone liked to make fun of. I did not hit puberty until a little bit later on in my life. People used to say all kinds of mean things to me, refering to my breasts as "man-boobs", "mosquito bite titts", "flat-chested" ... it just went on and on. I even had one boyfriend that told me that he was ashamed to be seen with me in public. The ridicule never seemd to end. Because of this, I went through school being very self-conscious about my appearance and my ability to get boys to like me. Even after puberty, I never made it past an A cup.. so my negative self-image carried on into college. The emotional scars left by those mean girls (and boys) from HS never quite faded.
So, with that, I was determined to change my predicament. The thought of going through life feeling insecure about my body was unacceptable to me , especially during my college years. So what I did was a thorough, dedicated search. I scoured the web for answers. I spent several days and nights pouring through an endless amount of first-hand accounts and other personal experiences with various products and solutions. During this quest, I found precisely what I was seeking. It was a topical cream called "CurvyBust" @ https://curvybust.im .. The first bottle that they sent out was totally Frẹe, the only thing I had to do was pay for the S&H. This is the only reason I even tried it, normally I would be too skeptical to bother with something "too good to be true." All I can say is, unbelievable. I went up almost 2 cup sizes in just a matter of a couple months. You would not believe what this has done for my self-esteem and outlook on things. I almost feel like I have a new lease on life. There is nothing quite like feeling perfectly comfortable in your own skin again.
Take care! I hope you find the answers you are looking for <3

Ugh, you mean you haven't even RESEARCHED the procedure and went over its complications and recovery before scheduling implants?
Very unwise. Sorry to be harsh, but you really need to research and properly inform yourself before going under the knife and even before going to a consultation.
Check out http://www.breasthealthonline.com and check out the Augmentation section. It is well worth it.

As a nurse you should know that cutting into your body and inserting a foreign object is apt to be painful. Just one word of advice - don't do it. Most men actually greatly prefer natural breasts.
