6+2a = (-a)-9
6+2a = -a - 9 (Removing brackets)
2a+a = -9 - 6 (Switching sides so that all variables are on one side)
3a = -15 (Adding)
a = -15/3 (Switching so that a comes on one side)
a= -5 (15/5)
Solution: a= - 5

If you multiply (-a)-9 then you'd get 7a/6
If you subtract -9 from -a, then the answer's
probably around there somehwere. I'm no
good with orders of operations with those
negatives and parenthesis so you can't
completely trust my answers, haha
