A right angle triangle contains one 90 degree angle, like the corner of a book or square. The other angles will add up to 90 degrees (do not have to be 45 degrees each). If cut from the triangle, they would fit into the right angle. In your poster, you might want to include some pictures that show where they might find right angles in their every day world. You might also include moving pieces (using brads perhaps) that would show how the other two angles fit into the right angle. Best of luck and have FUN!

Maybe mention the 3,4,5 triangle. Take a piece of string 12 feet (12 metres if you are in a metric country country) long, and carefully tie a knot at each foot (metre), in fact any length of string will work if the knots are all the same distance apart. Now get 3 weights or pegs, stretch the string and place the weights so that one side is 5 units longs, one 4 units and other 3 units. The angel between the 3 unit and 4 unit sides will always be a right angle. On the poster point out that this method has been used to measure land since ancient egytpian times. Research Pythagorus Theorem on Wikipedia.

it is any triangle with a 90 degree angle and two 45 degree angles.

all the interior angles add up to 180 degrees
normally the 90 degree angle has a square in it to represent that it is a right angle.
Good luck making that poster, use lots of color and different sized triangles to show that it can be big or little.
Blessings!

A right angle triangle is simply desribed as a triangle with two points coming together to make a 90 degree angle, where the legs coming away from the triangle look like a square cut neatly in half at a diagonal angle.

A triangle in which any two sides are perpendicular ( that makes a right angle or an angle of 90 degrees) is called a right angled triangle.
For the purpose of making the poster for children you can show a ladder with its one end at the wall and the other on the ground.

It's simple. A triangle is composed of three straight lines and three 'interior' angles. If one of those angles is 90°, then it's a right angle triangle. It can also be shown that the sum of all three angles in --any-- triangle adds up to 180°, so right angle triangles are important in many ways because, once you know it -is- a right angle triangle, you immediately know that the other two angles add up to exactly 90°.
