This depends on what you are giving a chance to... Never give a second chance to someone who will hurt you. First time, shame on you - Second time, shame on me! Never get into a repetitive cycle that will never break because you will be the one running in that circle, broken, hardened, & unsure of yourself. As for forgiveness, YES - by all means, forgive as long as that person who abused your trust can first forgive theirself & honestly admit they are wrong!
If you are giving yourself a second chance to get something right, then by all means go for it! It may even take a 3rd or 4th attempt!

well, if i have been really hurt and disgusted by someone i dont think i will give a person a second chance and i didnt because of someone doing something really bad to me. and also if u really care or luv someone and they have hurt u then u prolly r gonna give them a second chance even if u get hurt again because u love that person and want them in ur life and u give them chances everytime because u think that, that person is gonna change

I believe if your heart feels its worth it for that person, your heart will give them as many chances as they need. If you honest to god love that person, you never reach it to where enough is enough
