the best i ever came across is playtex sport its easy to hold onto to insert and ive never had a accident they deserve an award for that one

For pads, I prefer Kotex Ultra-compact ultrathins or Stayfree Ultrathins.
For tampons, I like Playtex Portables.
The ones I found leaked the most would be most any pad from Always, and for tampons, the worst, by far, are the Tampax Pearls.

I like OB tampons and always pads... but I'm not actually very picky. OB tampons are nice because don't have applicators and can be more discrete.

I prefer Always pads. I found that for heavy flow if I use the ones for maximum protection I don't have any problems with leakage.

my friends say always are good but i use kotex and stayfree they are very good for me i personaly like ultra this they are slimmer but have the same absorbecy
