I've gotten so many answers so I'm still not sure.
I'm only thirteen, but the pad is so annoying,
& the tampon just seems so much easier.
Is it really safe to use?
I've read how to, but I'm still afraid to try with people saying different things.

Someone please help?

yes you can.. i used them at your age. it may be a little uncomfortable the first few times that you use them, but i assure you it just becomes second nature..

good luck!!!

If you have any questions you should ask your mom.. she has been there before..

Of course you can. Purchase the smallest size tampons and change them when you need to. Make sure your hands are clean when you insert them. Don't change too frequently or leave them in for too long. Once every few hours is usually fine when you are flowing.

yes tampons are completely safe. i started using them at 13 just for dance practices but now i casually use them everyday for my period btw im 14. i suggest using Tampax tampons(cardboard app.) but i might be switching to playtex gentle glides or tampax pearl.

Completely safe. Change them every 6 hours (or sooner, if you want) and NEVER leave one in longer than 8 hours.

i would suggest that you wear pads rather than the tampons. it may be a bit uncomfortable but it is safer than using tampons. prolonged use of tampons may cause the toxic shock syndrome which is very dangerous to your health. if you can't help but use tampons, use it alternately with the pads and you have to replace it once it gets soaked. this is to prevent infection that may lead to what i mentioned before, the toxic shock syndrome.
