Yes, it looses it's flavor on the bed post overnight. But next morning when you start chewing it, the flavor comes back.

I would not know and do not wish to try to find out.
It is not exactly recommended to put any food on your bed post, especially when you live in an area that has cockroaches -- yuk.

I would think that it would get hard over night but I haven't tried it to give you a deffinate answer. Did yours lose its flavour?
