Helping other people are very evident throught the presence of different foundations. They are so many foundations dealing on different levels in order to help other people. Foundations that help cancer people, those suffering from biliary atresia, leper-stricken people, kidney-ailments, all sorts of sickness i think are covered by these good foundations. They help one another all with one goal - that is to help the needy.

People use each other. Those who say "both" are just avoiding the truth because the truth hurts. To honestly face the truth and to see that we use other people to get what we want is about the hardest thing that we can ever do. It destroys our self worth.
What would be my motive for helping? To gain some good feeling? But that's using others to get good feelings. To make a better society for me to live in? It's still using others to get what I want. Oh, because I am "inherently" a good person? Exactly what I want to hear about myself.

sometimes i use people at the same time help them.and my intentions aren't bad at all.
it really depends.
i dont think there is a constant formula to life. so yeah.

you can tell if someone is using by what they gain in helping another...if they gain personally or financially...they are using...if they are just helping to further the person...then it is actually helping just that person...
