I would say that Freddy Mercury was one musical genius. "Bohemian Rhapsody" or (BR, for short), after so many years, still have that certain magic... a work of a genius I'd say. But I could think of something better. I would still prefer "Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy" over BR. Yes, BR may be good, but "Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy"(GOFLB) is better. BR compared to GOFLB, is way over-rated. That's just me and my humble opinion.

Why can't it be both.

I just read through the lyrics to remind myself, and I can honestly say they make absolutely no sense to me. At one point I thought maybe it was the nonsense ramblings of a man about the be executed for murder, but I wouldn't say that with any confidence.

That being said, I love the song. It is one of my absolute favorites to sing along to in my car.

Who cares? It's catchy and it's fun to try and hit the notes. lol...no, really, I wouldn't call it rubbish or genius. The sound is genius, the lyrics are pretty cool...but I wouldn't go out of my way to say either extreme.
