Right now 100.4 isnt to high of a fever. Keep doing what your doing. Just keep in check her other symptoms. Is she teething. They can run small fevers like this when teething. Hope she feels better soon.

Check for stomach tenderness, vomitting, diarrhea, irratability, high pitched screams, aversion to light, rashes, limpness, skin colour and if this all seems normal then just monitor her closely over the next 1-2hrs and see what happens.
if she improves with the medicine and seems okay and alert then she may just be teething (red cheeks, drooling, red, sore or swollen gums, runny poo - red bottom, cranky) and you will probably find she will be okay.
BUT if you are anyway in doubt about anything and think there is something wrong, take her to a doctor but be ready for a long wait if you go the hospital so take snacks, bottles, clothes, nappies, toys, pram and stuff for you too!
(personal experience with daughter in hospital 3 times in 20mths...I know about boredom in the hospital trust me!)
Best of luck and just keep a close eye on her.

Chances are you'll wait forever at the e.r. saeeing as how it's not tlife-threatening. If you call the dr. they will probably tell you to give your daughter a lukewarm bath and give the motrin time to bring her fever down. If she gets worse or nothing brings the fever down or she starts showing other symptoms of something more serious, then yes take her either to the ped. office or the e.r. Hopefully it's just a little aggravating cold and nothing more serious. Good luck.

You shouldn't need to be told what to do If you are in doubt. You should always go with your gut instinct when it comes to your child's safety....ALWAYS!!!!!!
