just my observation:
women viscerally dislike (as in pea green puke w/ envy) THIN & attractive women. women will automatically size themselves up and if she sees herself falling short, women start feeling fearful and threatened.
now worries, it's a biological reaction. it's not because women are jealous, shallow, insecure creatures. secure women are able to cognitively overcome their initial responses.
it's similar to when an attractive man walks into a room and women notice... next thing you know, a rash of testosterone poisoning breaks out. ...next time, notice how guys will (intentionally or not) suddenly draw their women closer/ block the attractive guys path towards her/ etc.

Some do dislike attractive women, and for some it's out-and-out jealousy. For others it's subconscious, just a knee-jerk reaction rarely acted on.
And some seem to be raised by their mamas to either be jealous ("they'll stab you in the back, dear"), or to align themselves with attractive women in the hopes of picking up where those beauties quit, since beauty is not often ready for the long haul, at least some types of beauty.

Its just jelousy and nothing more. I was that woman. Last year I was 5ft3 and weighed 130. After three kids, I was really wanting to be that skinny girl I hated so much. So, I made a few simple changes and now Im 108 and no longer jelouse of other thin girls. But I can see how other bigger women shut me out in a sense,too, especially when they know I have 3 kids under 5. For a long time I felt guilty for losing weight but then I remind myself, I worked hard, I deserve it and I deserve to feel good about it. So do you.

Haha! Um...personally, I'm not exactly Hollywood material (in any respect), but I don't have a problem with thinner, more attractive women. If a woman is insecure about her body or the way she looks in general, then I believe that they will subconciously find reasons to hate them. I have no problem saying that I think another woman looks attractive, or even complimenting them to their face. But I'm not insecure, so I guess that has a lot do to with it.

i ready to admit that i do find reasons not to like attractive women! knowing that nobody's perfect, i'll try my best to find a flaw when i see a woman who's more attractive that i am to make myself feel better.
i don't dislike attractive women. it's attractive women with unattractive personalities that i dislike. :)

I think most do, but I'm not one of those. I probably look at women more than my husband does, just because, I am learning.. "Hey she looks really good because.. yada yada". I don't like women who think their looks is the only important thing they can contribute... but alot of men are that way too!! LOL

no i don't dislike attractive women, i'm uncomfortable when my husband is around them especially if they flirt, i get jealous, normal :)

yes, because they are get insecure.
thats why inside is better than outside.Though you have beauty, you can't have true friend if you are not good at heart.
