I would guess at least 80 percent. At least half of them could be answered with a good basic education in algebra, some geometry, a little probability and statistics - in other words, stuff a reasonably astute high school graduate with a decent math education should know. If that student has taken honors courses in trigonometry, precalculus, or something of the sort, the percentage goes up. The majority of the remaining questions are too poorly formulated to permit even a reasonable guess at the asker's intent and the remainder may involve calculus or some other advanced discipline.

Even as i have no longer but attained the highest Contributor badge (i am still a way off, in fact), i'm hoping to acquire it in the future. I are not able to add any massive insight, I handiest want to specific aid for the the answering (c) inspiration. I'll do this for questions which without doubt are about getting a speedy reply to a homework query, rather then trying to attain understanding. Also, there are some questions with a couple of materials (or more then one question in a query) - in such instances, I normally reply and provide an explanation for the first one to the first-rate of my capacity, and then finish with a message comparable to 'now you try the others...', i would encourage others to do the identical, as this board must be about gaining figuring out, no longer doing humans's homework for them.

Most of them, but certainly not all. I would say there are more pre-algebra and basic algebra questions than anything else. If someone can answer those kinds of questions and present the answers clearly, they don't have to be a math expert to become a top contributor. They just have to answer enough questions.

i think it's easy to be top contributor in math section if you want to
You need to answer daily on a large scale.
This is because most of the questions are elementary and
anybody with a decent math background can answer many.

3. out of the 5 answered questions I got only about 5% to be the selected answer. . . . . . about 1 in 20 answered entry
4. still I got my 2 points every time I answered a question
5. the above data are still varied

For me it's 50/50 in every math question/problem because I am either right or wrong.

If it's about business math, I think I could answer almost all of them.
