ive not experienced sore boobs but certainly blooming boob's.
I feel like Jordan.
ive gone from a Ccup to DDcup to an Ecup all in 7months.
god i dont half wish i could keep my new blooming pair.
Make the most of your new pair though because after the baby they shrink to less than you was before pregnancy. Before the pregnancy of my 1st son i was a 34DD after i had him i went to a 32B Now like i say im a 32E but its only because im pregnant.

Changes to the breasts start much earlier than most women expect. By the sixth week of pregnancy tenderness and slight enlargement has already taken place. It is not uncommon for the breasts to become "lumpy" in the first three months as the milk duct system begins to develop. The dark skin around the nipple (areola) becomes more prominent and darker in colour. The veins beneath the skin are more visible due to the increase in blood supply needed for growth and development of the breast, in preparation for feeding your baby later on. There is a gradual increase in size during pregnancy and, on average, the breast will increase by 5cm and 1400g.
These changes show why it is important to wear a comfortable, supportive bra. Depending on the size of your breasts before pregnancy and the rate of growth, some women need a maternity bra sooner than others. Many retailers nowadays offer a free fitting service to ensure you get the correct size. You need a comfortable bra which supports the increasing weight of your breasts and does not compress the breast in any way. You may need to be measured two or three times during your pregnancy.
A good maternity bra will have wider shoulder straps than a fashion bra, support panels and adjustable back fastenings to allow longer use as you increase in size.
So the secret is in the fitting. If you do wear an underwired bra at any time in your pregnancy make sure that the wire does not put pressure anywhere on the breast and don't sleep in it. It is much more likely to dig in to the breasts when you are lying down, possibly causing problems.

Try putting a warm wheat bag or warmed up damp towel/face washer over them to help the aching. I went from a c cup to dd cup within 6wks so I know what it is like, after baby I was an f cup!! The aching is just from the growth and general hormone stimulation.
DO NOT wear maternity bras yet!!!! You will need all the extra support you can get at this stage. If you start wearing the soft cup bras your breasts will not have the support they need and if you end up with large breasts (they will keep getting bigger trust me!!) they will sag, quickly.
The aching will not change whether you wear a proper supportive bra or maternity bra. Stick to normal for now, you may have to buy some new ones and get fitted properly, but closer to your due date change to maternity for when your body starts to produce the high volumes of colostrum and breast milk. When buying maternity bras make sure you are fitted correctly and try not to buy any until closer to your due date as your breasts are likely to change and get bigger the further along you get.
Congratulations and best of luck. the aching will settle down when your body gets used to being pregnant so try and relax.

Well aching happens when the breast gets bigger, as the skin gets stretched out. That happened to me too, and i went 2 sizes up too. It will be good to buy a breast cream that is for pregnancy, those one for preventing stretch marks and Keep your breasts and tummy moisturized. I m using by galenic, the elancyl vergetures, especially made for pregnancy. I heard Clarins is good too. But you can do your research and find many products for relief. And be sure to drink plenty of water. By the way i stopped at 2 sizes plus and with that aching got occasional.

Hi, Congratulations on your pregnancy!
I would say get a get measured for a softer bra, but not a maternity bra yet. I started wearing a maternity bra too early as my boobs were painful, but I am paying for it now, as my boobs sag too much as the skin has been stretched due to the weight of them. I hope they stop being so painful soon.
Good Luck!

go and get urself measured, so u got a good bra. n it sounds daft, but once u've had the baby n ur boobs have deflated u will so miss the pre-baby boobs!!!! lol.
all my friends who had babies said the bra size went up after, now, i wasn't exactly small in the 1st place and when i found out i was pregnant my (then) boyfriend was amazingly happy that i was going to get bigger! (the cheak of it!) now...unamusingly enuf my boobs are now SMALLER than they were in the 1st place!!! i've gone from DD, to JJ, to B....one is not amused. lol
the ache because the milk glands are 'waking up' in a few months they'll be leaking alllllllllll over the place, feeling like someone filled them with rocks, bloody hot and sticky and....ew. lol. not nice. doesn't help when ur daughter decides she doesnt want to breastfeed and just head butts your breasts. grrrrrrrrrr

First of all, our body is different from other people and we do not all experience the same symptoms:actually, this is what scares us!
Well, is it your first pregnancy? You know, when u r pregnant, your body starts to get ready to produce milk for your baby: this is one of the reasons it is aching a lot.
You could massage them or buy relax masks for the boops to relieve the pain.
Otherwise consult your doctor.
