Nasser freed Egypt from European domination and reformed its economy but Nasser taught Sadat, then Sadat taught Mubarak, how to create Egypt into a security state.
For those that say Sadat, who was it that taught the Mubarak family how to steal the Egyptian peoples money in a very simple way, because he had been doing it to perfection. who was it that taught Mubarak to jail oppostion? Sadat did very little giving to the Egyptian people, he was not wise and in for short term gain for himself. His wife still to this time lives like a queen from where does she get the money? Do university teachers take this high salary? Where does the money come from to run a Sadat education centre in an american university? How many Egyptians get to attend?
Mubarak let people out of jail brought the Coptic priests, Nawal El Sadawi, ikwani types, back from exile or jail to gain thier support, then when he realised that people cant be bribed or made to shut up, he put them in jail again, oppressed them in some way and sent people in exile to the states and else where.
Mubarak learned all from Sadat, the same way that both of thier wives both having alot in common such as both being half British by thier mothers, both attending christian faith based private girls schools, (Suzanne and Jehan worked together closely to help each other)
The worst thing that Mubarak has done by far is allow the Egyptians peoples pride to be hurt outside of Egypt because of the way the system treats its own people
"the Kuwaiti Writer who priced the Egyptian like a Korean washing machine in Kuwait in a respond to the criticism to the Kuwaiti government from the Egyptian government

The man is too busy looking at ways that he can steal for him and his family pride rather than seeing all Egyptians as one family and them needing pride to feed thier families also.
Out of all all them Nasser, because he did believe in giving Egyptians pride and he didnt steal as much as the next two. Yet they are all bad human beings

Sadat was the best out of those three in my opinion.
My wife always says that she prefers the king era !! although she never lived that time but I have the feeling that she is right.
so, maybe it is coming back somehow.
