Salty burger leads to jail

A McDonald's employee spent a night in jail and is facing criminal charges because a police officer's burger was too salty, so salty that he says it made him sick.

Kendra Bull was arrested Friday, charged with misdemeanor reckless conduct and freed on $1,000 bail.

Police said samples of the burger were sent to the state crime lab for tests.

City public information officer George Louth said Bull was charged because she served the burger "without regards to the well-being of anyone who might consume it."

regardless of whether or not it was done on purpose, it is still a ridiculous excuse to arrest someone. Maybe next time she'll spit in it so he won't realise.
If food is too cold or salty or otherwise bad you ask for a refund or replacement or make a complaint.
If I had the same complaint I couldn't get the police to charge someone for that "offence"

She ought to be real glad it wasn't an FBI Agent, she would be doing Life without parole in a federal joint, instead of just the city jail.

The charge would be:

Terrorism against a federal official

It's a misdemeanor and when he goes to court he will just get a fine. He should have gotten arrested because the officers life is put in danger everyday and they are extremely underpaid. The Officer went to that restaurant and should have in good faith received the same type of burger that you and I get. The employee did it because it was a police officer and he could have done more that just put too much salt on it.

I read about that.... Although nothing compared to the crime of fashion committed by Brittany at teh VMA's. If I was that girl I would sue the police for false imprisonment. I don't know if a crime was committed or just the cop being an ***. Who knows.

And it took the officer eating the whole burger to realize it was too salty? What an idiot!! After one bite you'd know and most people would STOP eating it (before getting sick)! DUH!

That is totally ABSURD!!! I almost don't believe it, but if you say so, then it happened. How crazy!! That will cost the person their job and the money for an attorney, even if it's court appointed!!! I think I should sue my mailman because he tracked mud on my sidewalk, how about that?? ABSURD!!

Too much salt would make my lips swell, tongue get
blisters. How stupid for her to do that. They should
have made her eat it. That was some story. I hope
McD doesn't take her back. She's a hazard to everyone's
health.
