The SAT is usually taken in the senior year, in the spring of the senior year, so go to your school's counseling center or whatever you have and sign up. You should have taken the PSAT as a junior. You really aren't at much of a disadvantage at all if any.

Take it now I guess. Not every school, I think, requires that you take the SAT. Take it anyway...

Many universities or adult education centers will let you take them anytime regardless if you are enrolled or not. You will probably have to pay to take this route.
