I think of long haired rockers, (OMG I thought Dee Snider in Twisted sister was CUTE) polka dots in pink and black, pink and turqoise shirts on men, HUGE sholder pads, White IKEA furniture, MTV (I remember when 1 kid had MTV in our little town and we were all so jealous)

Omg,lol.Life use to be simpler back then.The music was great.We all looked geeky,because of the fashion,but didnt we think we looked soooooooooooo cool.I had posters of Culture Club on my wall.And i couldnt wait to buy every colour of fluro socks that were available.I love the 80s.

I describe the early eighties as the demise of Disco (Oh how sad, I know) and the beginning of Urban Cowboy, silly outfits, hard dance steps and my 3 pairs of boots. (But Hey, I am a Texan!!!)

goofy hair, I still don't understand the "mullet". Bands still made original music, I was in Jr & seinor high during the decade- hey....fast times at ridgemont high!! classic, dude!
