Take it to a vet. They may be able to help.

You really need to take it to a vet, especially if you don't know if it's a turtle or a tortoise ( they need different foods and environments.) In the meantime, clean out the wound with Betadine solution twice a day ( you can get it at any drugstore.) Make sure the turtle has a warm spot to lay ( basking light or undertank heating pad.) You really need a vet, though, because the turtle will probably need injections of Baytril, which is an antibiotics used for reptiles. If any internal organs are punctured,I'm afraid the turtle will die,as cats have a lot of bacteria in their mouths and if a lung is punctured,it will get pneumonia.Best to call a vet.

i would suggest that you let it be and let it recover from its bad experience, it might die but it might live too, i have a turtle that was hit by a lawn mower ,took a chunk out of his shell, he recovered and is doing fine,
if its shell is badly cracked a vet will correct it using fibre glass, search around find a vet that deals in turtles and ring and get his advice a phone call will cost you nothing more than the price of a phone call, if i knew you were in Australia i could help you fined one , what country are you in,

troutpotato's Right. A simple trip to a vet will do.
