What's EVEN MORE ridiculous is fact that this employee isn't even responsible for the mistake! She reported it to her supervisor, and THAT PERSON made the decision to serve the meat anyway! But jail and a fine for BAD FAST FOOD?! You've gotta be [expletive deleted] kidding me!

I really hope McDonald's has the decency to get her a good lawyer. Even after the D.A. throws the case out, she certainly has a civil one!

The night in jail and fine are way off the scale. Why did the officer eat the burger? That is the question. He should have asked for a replacement or complained to the manager.
On the other side of the coin, that was poor employee-ship. I think she shouldn't get more than one second chance to work in food service.

If what he did grow to be a criminal offense, then you certainly did no longer positioned him in detention center. You introduced expenditures against him and he grow to be discovered accountable. If the fees you introduced against him have been fake and synthetic in that fertile ideas of yours, then you certainly ought to pass to detention center and he'd be completely in his rights to look upon you as some thing he in simple terms stepped in. No, especially since she told someone. Me personally, knowing how some police officers are looking for "a reason", I would have just made him one fresh and offered him a complimentary coffee while he waited.

No, I don't think she should of went to jail. It's a fast food restaurant, what do you expect? For one, that officer shouldn't be eating that stuff.

Damn, a refund should have been sufficient. You would think one bite is all it would take to determine it was too salty. If the cop was dumb enough to keep eating it they deserved to be sick.

I saw that earlier. Honestly, you can't be certain that she didn't do it on purpose. This happens to police all of the time.
