he works construction. I have a 6 month old. he has 2 kids that are very unruly and demanding. When he is home his attention is focused soley on them. Not me or the baby. He will run off and go to the bar and then come home drunk. We have no time together. What can I do?

Can you seek marriage counseling?
Can you get someone to babysit for a night and have the babysitter take the kids before he gets home so it's just you and him when he walks in the door?

I am sorry for your delimma. I think when he comes home next week-end meet him at the door smelling delicious and looking just as yummy , have a sitter arrive a few minutes later and you both go to the bar, that way you both get to unwind and spend some much needed quality time together.. Even if you don't drink still go with him you need to get out to my dear.

Sounds like he wanted a babysitter. Don't sit there waiting on him get yourself involved with something on the weekend's drop off 6 mth old and go have fun, let him watch his kid's on his own

You can do nothing...to make him to do anything... he has to do it because he wants tooo....
U have tocontinue..to love ur kids and ur self...
and loving them.. means... u do not take his disrespect...
sounds like he wants u to be mad... and i know it is hurting u...
u do not have to take this..
i know u feel u do... but there is help out there..
if u want it..
going to the bar?? being drunk... sounds like he is trying to escape....
pick ur self up and ck on a place to move... with family friends..
get on food stamps... etc...
you are human.. this type of behavior will make u depressed... and cry...it is very hurtful...

He's probably just not happy, men have a tough time expressing themselves. Give him an ultimatum and if he doesn't shape up then leave him.
