How do you choose a favorite football team if you just got into the sport?

Team in the closest city to which you were born? Or if you live in a city that has a team....Whatever you do don't pick a team just because they're doing good.

I would pick a team close to where I live. That way if you ever want to go see a game you won't have to travel far.You can also join in the festivities/promotions that are sponsored by your local city. Sometimes there are even local events that the team/team members make appearances at. These opportunities promote good spirit and a chance to talk to the players and maybe even get an autograph or two.GOOD LUCK!!!

You can pick someone local. That way you can enjoy getting a chance to go and see them play or you can choose a rival of someone close to you that way you can cheer for opposite teams and have a friendly competition. That always makes the games more enjoyable.

I'd pick a team from your home state. I'm a Browns fan, no matter how bad they do. . .which is saying something. I've been a fan for over 20 years, not going to change now!

what ever team you pick support them with some passion, dont just pick a winner, watch some games this season and by the end you will be leaning towards one or the other.....and remember theres nothing greater than an OAKLAND RAIDER!!!!!!!
