Yeah, CIA had information that Al Quaida was plotting to hijack airplanes AND that AQ operatives were in the country attending flight schools. World Trade center was the target of the earlier bombing in 1993 that was financed by AQ. What are we paying these CIA people for anyway? If they can't put two and two together on stuff like this, then what use are they?

Yea we got threats, but we always get threats. If some one told you they were going to kill you, you would take it seriously. But not if they did it day after day after day and nothing ever happens.

On the other hand osama killed 200 and something marines in Lebanon, 17 on the USS Cole, 18 in Africa i think it was 19 during the original bombing in the world trade center, then 3 000 on 9/11 and each and every time we just left em alone and walked away. An here we are in Iraq an the Americana's want to run again..........

Osama himself has been quoted saying "the Americans might have a big advanced military, but if you kill some of them they will run."

everyone has there own opinion on 9/11. i think it could have been "sort of" prevented if the pilots took more action.. or the people on the plane. other then that i don't think so.

If you are saying were we aware, then yes and no. Yes, we had been told "We will attack" but they also said "you won't know where or when until we strike". Kinda like the schoolyard bully who threatens you with "I'm gonna kick your a**! " You hope he's just bluffing, but you halfway believe him, and you can't really do anything about it b/c you don't know what/when/where until it happens.

i heard the Indian Goverment told American's about it in great details when Clinton was still in charge. dont know if it's true, but if it is they could have prevented it, but arrogance made them think it would never happen.

Of course there are ways. Somebody could've arrested or killed the people who did it, for starters.
