He is not failing to win, and open the awards just cuz he is black, it's cuz he's not even mainstream anymore!
I couldn't tell you the last song he made, and I listen to the radio all the time!!
First, George Bush does not like black people, then he crashes the stage during the MTV Europe awards, because he did not win the best male performance... and now tonight, he smashes britney, AND bitches cuz he didn't win in any of his categories... and now he says he's not returning to MTV, according to yahoo.. WELL GOOD! I don't care about him anyways!!
So yeah... why doesn't he just rely on BET to get him recognition?
In my opinion, he is a sad pathetic little midget... who is a wash up.

Well he just can’t rely on BET because like mtv, bet does not promote artist. But anyways he has to stay mainstream because there's a lot of white people in the world and those are the people that buy cds and who goes to all of hip hop concerts. And anyways your rude saying that he needs to give up his status or his popularity and just limit himself to B.E.T because he is black.

I can't stand him on a personal level, but some of his music is OK. I quit liking him when he crashed the stage and ruined someone else's win. I was hoping 50 would knock his *** out tonight, but this is all starting to look like a publicity stunt. Furthermore 50 would look like a chump for fighting a black leprechaun.

If you listen to the radio all the time Kanye has at least 2 singles right now one being the #1 track "Stronger", not to mention being featured on one of Common's tracks (who's album was #1 in the country the week it released)
Ummm, he even had a track from his UNRELEASED album play at the end of Entourage a few weeks ago "Good Life"
Why would any celeb rely on ONE network for recongnition?

I'm not bashing Kanye, but there is no need for his whining the only way to get the recognition he so desperately craves is to get off your butt and work for it. If he isn't getting what he wants he simply needs to try harder and harder until he does. Whining about it and trashing other people only makes people hate him that much more and decreases his popularity. That goes for everyone not just Kanye

"not mainstream anymore" have you ever listened to a Kanye CD? His sound is basically the same through all 3 big albums and one of his current singles has been number 2 of the billboard charts for weeks.
