it is not tension in the muscle, but tension in the MIND. learn relaxation techniques.

E-mail me, please. Are you ever nauseous, or vomiting? Do lights and sounds bother you?

Tension headaches can be pretty nasty. If you were my kid, the second you felt like a headache was coming on, I'd give you two (200mg) motrin. If the headache increased at all, two additional (200mg) motrin (it's okay to take up to 900 mg every 6 hours if you weigh more than 100 lbs.) P.S. Don't take motrin on an empty stomach.

Don't wait for the headache to blossom before you take motrin. If you get it early, you may be able to prevent the bad part.

This could be anything from a chronic sinus infection to tension headaches, to migraines, to a brain tumor. Your best bet is to see a neurologist. He or she can perform a complete evaluation and you can finally put your mind (and your head!) at ease.

Hang in there,

Have an eye examination by an opthamologist (not an optometrist) who can check for any eye-related diseases, esp. early glaucoma. Yes, glaucoma can develop in young people.
