of the classroom. I used to sit almost near the front, and she moved me to the back. I think it's because she doesn't like me, but the thing is, I sit right beside her desk now. I noticed that she moved all the smart people towards the back, and the not so smart ones towards the front. But she just had to move me right beside her at her desk. She won't let me move either, she said those seats are permanent. Question is: Why would she move me towards the back by her? I'm not a bad student, I have an A in there and I don't talk much.

If she moved all the smart people tot he back and you were one of them, I don't see why you are complaining

You just said she moves the smart ones to the back, and then you complain that you're smart, why did you get moved to the back. She's put you by her desk at the back because you're smart and don't need the extra attention the front of the class will get, and she put you by her desk because she knows you don't talk much and won't interrupt her.

No worries... I was one of the kids in the front of the class until I graduated to the middle. ;-)

It's standard for most teachers to place the students that do not have problems with following directions in the back, and those that may have a few issues towards the front. I think your teacher is doing what is standard so there is no need to worrie.

Does she lecture from the front? It could be that she's afraid if she let everyone sit where they wanted, all the kids who want to hide will sit near the back and try not to get noticed. You may have just gotten lucky :) and wound up with that seat. Someone had to.

Because it helps not so smart kids when they are up front. Every science class I slept through, my teachers put me up front. I really like the back, though.

Sometimes teachers like to put their reliable students near them, so that they can confirm things that they've taught, or ask to have their hw to show to the class sometimes what a great example would show up like. So I'm guessing you must be a little favoredish or atleast a helpful student =) Don't sweat it, not to worry :]

You're doing the same thing i do. OVER ANALYZING! You're fine, it's ok. Maybe she just want's to be sure that the lessons are getting through to someone

Because you require less attention. the ones in the front have less distraction between them and the teacher.

If you're not wearing too much perfume or too little deodorant then don't try to over analyze it. It probably has nothing to do with you.
