Normally, I'd recomend a mac. They are amazing. But they just aren't gaming computers. Don't get me wrong, they're perfectly capable of handling the games. They're designed for video editing, so they're going to have super fast processors and awesome graphics. But unfortunatly, most games aren't Mac compatable.
Dells are pretty reliable computers, I used one for years before I switched to Mac. But for gaming, out of your choices, I'd pick the Vaio. But, as it's been said above, an alienware would be you're best bet because they're pretty much built for gaming.

If it's a PC game, you need a PC. Unless you get an Intel Mac and install Windows on it, then it would run fine on the Mac also.

if it was me I would buy the Sony any day of the week.. Why you may ask yourself..
here are my reasons...
(1) The Dell is a total wast of time.. their promises to deliver on time is way out.. and their after sales service is not worth the paper it is written on.. do you're home work on the dell for poor service..
(2) The Apple mac is over priced for what it is... plus your tied to mac for the life of the computer,,
Mac software is not cheap by a long way...and you can only buy the software from Apple Mac
Again Apple Mac are very expensive when it comes to repairs. It will cost you an arm and a leg for repairs... again you can only take it to a Mac agents/Dealer or send it to Mac to have repairs done on it.
(3) The Sony is the best cherry to pick, why? your not tied to anyone for repairs. it will run any operating system you place on it, Windows XP/Vista (Not without problems), OS/x and any version of Linux.... Linux is FREE with all the software you will ever need to use...
Apple Mac software is a form of Linux... but they charge you the moon to buy it from them...on the other hand Linux is free to download. you can use it on any computer you like with no problems, and no activation keys to wary about, and the support is second ot none

macs arn't pc's..
if youre a gamer, you may want to go with pc..
i'd get an alienware or an asus though..
dell is good due to their part replacement and sony is just sleek.for gaming, i wouldnt really go with either..
