I just read someone's answer to a question about China, and he was gung-ho to "trash" China's military capabilities, and to start a war with the country. Also, I keep reading answers like "Nuke Iran into the stone-age" and "We should just bomb South America", etc. etc. Is this a "guy thing"? Are we so blood thirsty? So violent? Why are we "stuck on" war??

Most of the people that glorify war have never been in a combat role. My last war was in Korea and I thank god I was too old for Vietnam and Iraq. I look at the equipment our troops are using and don't recognize but just a few of the weapons, Those equipment packs on their backs look huge to have to carry around during street fighting and door to door searches, I have tremendous respect for our troops and pray each and every day that they may soon return home safely and in one piece. I'd feel much better if we'd send the blood thirsty civilians that are clammering to destroy the mid east and let them do the job. Let our Commander in Chief lead the way with his banner flying high.

Most, if not all, of them on here are OK sending OTHER PEOPLE to war, but not themselves. Also, they don't know how to discuss, they only know how to fight, and that's why there are so many deaths IN America.

On the other hand, there ARE reasons to go to war, such as what this country will be mourning about today (9/11), but that was the ONLY country we should have invaded. Unlike PNAC, or whatever it is, there was NO reason to go into Iraq.

Yahoo is comprised of neo-conservatives on a mission for global conquest and a one government world.

Watch these three videos from 50 years ago and you will understand how long people like Yahoo, NBC, CBS, Fox, and scum like Bush and all those before him in our lifetime have been trying to conquer and control the world. You will see that this isn't something new, it's been brewing for almost a century, longer in reality, but just watch these three videos.

If you can stop watching after the first 5 minutes then you'll never understand what is going on.

These are Ayn Rand videos. She is one of the most genuinely intelligent and caring people to have ever graced the planet earth.

These idiots think war is a movie-like Rambo. They are clamoring for the next installment. Since noe of them would actually get up off the couch to go serve in the military, that's the extendt of their understanding. They either don't realize--or don't care--that war means real death and suffering--that the pieces of a childs body spashed all over what's left of of his home is real--that war is NOT entertainment.

What do you suggest we as a nation do about aggressor nations? from your past posts you promote appeasement ans isolationism...all historical failures, you ultra lib pukes do not have clue...always offering criticism and no solutions to dealing with the thugs of this world, I still suggest we drop you off in Sadr city and see how long you last with your western ideals in regards to feminism etc...ideals that military men such of myself have put our lives on the line to defend...you are a clueless, arrogant idiot and thank god people like you will never call the shots for this great nation, war with china is a remote possibility...so get off it, nuking Iran is probable since they keep mouthing off about doing the same to us and Israel...or do you hate Jews as you have indicated in your previous posts? such a lib moron! the world is a very dangerous place and international relations are too complicated for you to comprehend....obviously.So get a life loser...God bless president Bush and our troops!

So, we're supposed to "fight back" if we are attacked?? I suppose Iraq "hit us first"???? No, they didn't!

As far as I know, Osama's minions "hit us" , and we have done nothing but increase their numbers and their vehemence!

AND--we have done nothing about Osama--except to give him all the free publicity he craves....

As for war--we are still a very un-evolved race, we human beings. If we don't annihilate ourselves...maybe, just maybe...in another bilion or so years, we MIGHT realize that living in peace and prosperity IS possible.

Because aggression and pride are the last ditch efforts of a desperate man.
"I'll show them! I'll beat them into my way of thinking!"
It use to work. But when you got a solider that hasn't been able to stand down (rest) because they have been on duty for three tours because there aren't enough military personal to replace them, aggression turns into suicide.
It's so easy to sit in the easy chair and send others to there death or a life of disabilities.

Because Bush supporters think that they can walk all over anyone--and not get any kind of response in return.

Iraq proved them wrong.

Now, they want to attempt the same stupid idiocy with Iran.

When will they ever learn?

Ah, it's just talk. But the difference between us Conservatives and the Liberals is that we won't take garbage nor threats from anyone. We see that preemption is better than being a sitting duck.

People like to rant, I inform them that AOL is for ranting and Yahoo Q/A is for question and answers. I then ask them to remove their crap hole question. After that I give a little advice and move on.....
