make it 5w^2+38w-63=0
then factor to (5w-7)(w+9)=0
then make it 5w-7=0 and w+9=0
then solve for w. w=5/7 and w=-9

have yourself a good day.

5w^2 + 38w - 63 = 0

(5w - 7)(w + 9)

w = 7/5 or - 9
