Looking to have a P.O. box for a business, but I don't have a physical address yet, and receiving packages is a must.

not big packages... biggest thing I could think of would be software boxes, the ones that are about the size of a package of ink jet printer paper

Usps Box Prices

Most companies will not ship to PO boxes. Use a neighbor or friend's address - or a family member's. Worst case, go to a commercial mail box service to get a physical address for packages. The prices vary widely.... but $20/mo. ought to cover it nicely.

BTW: My LARGE USPS PO box was $52 every 6 months! Locally, the smaller ones were less than $20/6 months.

I looked into that about a year ago. I think it's about $25-30 a month. You have to have valid picture I.D. and all too. But someone at the post office can give you a pamphlet when you go there.

price for PO box depends on size. Check with desk clerk--they will show you what size boxes are available...Rates are quoted annually and you can pay annually or half in two six month installments, with no interest or finance charges.

It might depend on what part of the country you live in. Did you try http://www.usps.com to see if they have information on rates?
